Eslor Review

Eslor Skin Care Review

I recently discovered the most amazing skin care line, and I’m so excited to tell you all about it! Eslor Skin Care sponsored a party that I attended in Chicago last month. Before the event, I reached out to Eslor to introduce myself and the Madame Deals team. I chatted with their representative, and the next thing I knew, I received a huge box of 12 different skin care products to review! I was blown away by their generosity and customer service, which made me a fan before I even tried their products.

Eslor products were created by a pharmacologist as a gift to his wife. His hope was to create a skin care line based on natural ingredients. Most of the products contain a high content of Aloe Vera, as well as natural plant extracts and vitamins. Their products are designed to give you beautiful, healthy skin without the use of toxic chemicals.

Eslor has a line of cleansers, exfoliants, masks, moisturizers, and targeted products, and your product selection should be based on your skin type. I have sensitive skin, so I will focus this review on their Sensitive Collection. However, there are also products for oily, dry, combination, and even “mature” skin.

The Sensitive Collection is formulated with natural ingredients that are known to help calm inflammation and offer the skin protection, restoration, and hydration from everyday pollutants. The collection includes Soothing Refiner & Cleanser, Botanical Peeling Gel, Comforting Mask, and Soothing Cream.

I really love the Soothing & Refining Cleanser. It is a very light gel that foams up nicely and has almost no smell. After using it, my skin felt smooth and clean with no irritation. This product is gentle enough for sensitive skin but is recommended for every skin type. The active ingredients in this cleanser include Aloe Vera Gel, Sage Leaves Extract, Carrot Extract, Rosemary Extract, and Glycerin.

I’ll be honest – the name “Botanical Peeling Gel” made me a little nervous. My normal skincare routine is very basic and doesn’t include peeling of any sort. But when I read that the active ingredients of this product include Aloe Vera Gel, Glycerin, Chamomile Extract, Papaya and Pineapple Enzymes, Essential Oils, and Sea Buckthorn Oil, it sounded gentle enough for me to give it a try. And as described, it really is quite gentle. The smell is a little stronger than the Cleanser, but it’s very pleasant and reminds me of herbal tea. And after using this exfoliant, my skin really did feel noticeably smoother.

Next I used the Comforting Mask. This product isn’t included in the Sensitive Collection, but it is recommended for use on sensitive skin. Eslor’s Step-by-Step Skin Care Regimen suggests following your exfoliant with a mask once or twice a week. The mask smells pleasant, is very creamy, and goes on smoothly. I felt some slight tingling/itching and my kids were quite amused by my green face, but other than that I was comfortable in the mask, which I left on for 10 minutes (the minimum time recommended). The active ingredients include Seaweed Extracts, Aloe Vera Gel, Kaolin, Glycerin, Zinc Oxide, Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, and Ginseng Extract. Sounds delicious, right? The mask left my skin feeling soft and smooth.

The final step in my skincare regimen was to moisturize, and for this I used Eslor’s Soothing Cream. Like all of the other products I tried, it was very light – much more so than the moisturizer that I currently use. I only needed a tiny amount to cover my whole face with this translucent cream. It dried quickly and did not make my face feel greasy at all. The active ingredients in the Soothing Cream include Live Yeast Extract, Ginkgo Biloba, Aloe Vera Gel, Avocado Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Hazelnut Oil, and Vitamin E.

Eslor has many other wonderful products that I can’t wait to try, including the Herbal Soothing Gel and the Firming Eye Cream. I would recommend these products to anyone looking to pamper herself with a line of healthy, natural products that will make her look and feel beautiful!
