You Will Need:

  • Peeps!
  • Graham Crackers
  • Frostings
  • chocolate (or jellybean) eggs
  • Shredded Coconut
  • Green food coloring

peeps houses steps

First, you will grab your gram crackers and break them in half. You will need 6 piece total. Using your frosting construct your house. (1 for the bottom, 2 for the sides, 1 for the back, and 2 for the top).

Next, When your house is complete it will look like the one above. Let dry. before messing with it. (Trust me, if you get impatient and try to add stuff to it before it’s dry it will fall and make you really sad.)

Then, pour some of your shredded coconut into a bowl and put a few drops of green food coloring into the bowl and mix. This will be the grass for your peep to sit on!

Finally, Sprinkle some “grass” on the bottom of your peeps house and decorate with candy eggs, and of course don’t forget to add your Peeps! Don’t they look cute!?

Ways to use Easter peeps

WAYS TO USE EASTER PEEPS

One classic candy that you’re sure to find in abundance during Easter is the beloved Easter Peeps.

These little marshmallow chicks and bunnies are a staple of the Easter season, but what can you do with them besides just eating them straight out of the package?

I’m here to share with you some fun and creative ways to use Easter Peeps!

1. Peeps S’mores

Who says you can only have s’mores in the summer? Try making Easter-themed s’mores by using Peeps instead of regular marshmallows. Just place a Peep on top of a graham cracker and a piece of chocolate, and then microwave it for a few seconds until the Peep is soft and gooey. Top it off with another graham cracker and enjoy!

2. Peeps Milkshake

Want to take your milkshake to the next level? Blend some Peeps into your milkshake for a fun and colorful twist. You can use any flavor of Peeps, but we recommend using the classic yellow chicks for the most festive look.

3. Peeps Rice Krispie Treats

Add some Peeps to your classic Rice Krispie Treat recipe for an Easter twist. Simply melt your butter and marshmallows as usual, but add in some chopped up Peeps for a pop of color and flavor. You’ll end up with a batch of delicious and festive treats that everyone will love.

4. Peeps Diorama

Get crafty with your Peeps and create a fun diorama scene like our Easter peeps house above.

You can also use a shoebox or other small box as the base of your diorama, and then create a scene using Peeps as the characters. You can use other Easter candy and decorations to add to the scene, and don’t forget to share your creation on social media for everyone to see!

5. Peeps Hot Chocolate

Warm up with a cup of Peeps Hot Chocolate. Simply melt some Peeps into your favorite hot chocolate recipe for a colorful and festive twist. You can even top it off with some whipped cream and a Peep on top for the ultimate Easter hot cocoa experience.

6. Peeps Cupcake Topper

Peeps are perfect addition to your cupcakes. These colorful marshmallows will level up your Easter cupcakes.

So there you have it, fun and creative ways to use Easter Peeps. Whether you’re looking to add some Easter flair to your favorite recipes or create a fun diorama scene, Peeps are the perfect addition to any Easter celebration. Happy Easter and happy Peep-ing!

Popular Easter Traditions

Easter Traditions Around the World

Many people observe Easter with various traditions that have been passed down for generations.

In the United States, one popular tradition is dyeing Easter eggs.

Families often gather around the kitchen table to dye and decorate eggs in a variety of colors and designs. These eggs can then be used in Easter egg hunts or displayed as decorations throughout the home.

Another American tradition is the Easter bunny, a character who is said to deliver baskets of candy and treats to children on Easter morning.

Children often leave carrots out for the Easter bunny, as he is said to love them.

Ham is a popular food to eat during Easter in many parts of the world, particularly in Western countries such as the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. There are a few reasons why ham is associated with Easter:

  1. Religious significance: In Christian tradition, Easter commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Some people believe that eating ham is symbolic of this event, as it is believed to represent the “sacrificial lamb” that was offered in the Old Testament as a sign of repentance.
  2. Springtime tradition: Easter is celebrated in the spring, and ham was traditionally served at this time of year because pigs were often slaughtered in the fall, and the meat could be cured and stored over the winter. By the time Easter arrived, the ham was ready to be cooked and served.

In Brazil, Easter is celebrated with a traditional feast known as the Páscoa.

This feast often includes roasted lamb, along with a variety of other traditional dishes. Many Brazilians also attend church services during the Easter holiday.

In Italy, Easter is a time for feasting and family gatherings. One popular Italian tradition is the “Easter pie,” a savory dish made with meats, cheeses, and eggs. Many Italians also attend church services during Easter week, and some even participate in processions through the streets.

In Greece, Easter is a major religious holiday, and it is celebrated with a variety of traditions.

One of the most important is the lighting of candles during the midnight church service on Holy Saturday. These candles are then used to light the way for a procession through the streets.

In Poland, Easter is celebrated with a variety of traditions, including the blessing of Easter baskets.

Families fill baskets with traditional foods like bread, sausage, and eggs, which are then blessed by a priest. Many Poles also participate in Easter egg decorating, and some even make elaborate and colorful paper mache eggs.

No matter where you are from, Easter is a time to come together with family and friends and celebrate the traditions that have been passed down for generations. Whether you are dyeing Easter eggs or feasting on traditional dishes, this holiday is a special time to reflect on the blessings in your life and to celebrate the hope and renewal that comes with springtime.

Easter is a special time of year for many families around the world. For Christians, it is a time to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
