Eat to Win Review

Healthy Eating Rules will Help You Win When You Play Eat to Win

eat to win

Eat to Win is the game that teaches the benefits of Nutrition and Exercise in a fun and easy way.

Eat to Win has a series of games that teach children nutrition facts without them even knowing it. I received the Board Game to review and my daughter was very excited to play it once it arrived. My husband and I sat down to play it with her and we had just as much as she did.  Our dogs even joined in on the activity challenges from the “Do It Cards”. We always have fun playing games as a family but it was fun to get up and get moving and definitely was not your ordinary board game.

Eat to Win Game options include the following:

Board Game

Kid’s Reality Edition

Classroom Edition Flash Cards (Preschool)

Classroom Edition Flash Cards (K-1st)

Classroom Edition Flash Cards (2nd-3rd)

Classroom Edition Flash Cards (4th – 5th)

Eat to Win was created by a mother who had a son that struggled with obesity. She is not alone in this fight and many of our children are on the borderline. With all the “Non-Healthy”  food choices promoted to children, we have to fight back. The main thing that I like about the Eat to Win Board Game is that the monetary figures are equal to calorie amounts (earned and used.) It also highlights new new USDA Choose My Plate Program.

Eat to Win is not just for kids who struggle with weight issues. It is a way to introduce kids (no matter what the age) to healthy eating choices and healthy activity choices. The game incorporates 3 types of  cards. They are the “Do It Cards” prompt players to perform an activity,The “Challenge” Cards ask health related questions, and the “Eat it Trivia” cards ask a nutrition/food question.

If you normally have snacks while playing games there is a “Snack” option where you can incorporate healthy snacks into the game.

So get your kids off the couch and start playing.
