Hummus is one of my all time favorite snacks, and with this easy hummus recipe, you will never want to buy store bought hummus again! It’s super easy to make, and if you have a food processor, or a blender, you can make this recipe! Hummus is a great thing to have in your fridge if you are trying to eat better because it makes for some better for you snacking. Another great thing about having an easy hummus recipe is that it’s a great base that you can add your own twist too! I personally love adding jalapenos and cilantro to my hummus to give it a little kick!

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained
  • 1 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pour your chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, and salt into a blender. Blend until smooth
  2. Pour your hummus into a serving bowl, top with olive oil and pepper, serve! (I also add a little extra garlic on top for garnish)
