Easy Apple Crisp Recipe
Easy Apple Crisp Recipe
Over the weekend my daughter and I spent some time a local farm. We went to get some pumpkins, but ended up coming home with pumpkins, fresh bread, some veggies, and some delicious red apples. Apples are one of my favorite things to cook with during the fall, and I was super excited to make a yummy dessert for my family with them. Apple Crisp is one of my easy go-to recipes for fall parties and get togethers. It doesn’t take long to make OR to bake. And it tastes like a “burst of fall in your mouth!” or so says my daughter. Would you like to learn how to make it? Let’s check it out!
Here is how to make my Easy Apple Crisp Recipe:
You Will Need:
- 5-6 Red Apples
- 1/2 Cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 Cup Quick Oats
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar (Dark)
- 3/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
- 1/3 Cup Softened Butter
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375. Peel and slice your apples and place them in a greased casserole dish.
Step 2: In a bowl combine your flour, oats, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir until well combined. (Side note, this mix smells SO amazing!)
Step 3: Pour your mixture over you apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until golden.
Serve while warm. It’s awesome with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. YUM! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! It’s a perfect recipe for when you have friends over, or if you just want something a little sweet after a long day. This Easy Apple Crisp Recipe is perfect for any time of year!
