DIY Facial Scrub

DIY Facial Scrub

If you are looking to clear out your pores without clearing out your wallet, then I have the perfect DIY Facial Scrub recipe for you! I am always looking for great ways to replace all the chemicals that we use in everyday things (and get charged an arm and a leg for!) so when I find a great DIY recipe that works, I love to share them with you!

Baking soda is one of my all time favorite things to use in replace of all sorts of things, cleaning items, beauty items, etc. And as it turns out, baking soda is a great exfoliater! This simple DIY Facial Scrub only takes 3 ingredients and will make your skin feel super clean and soft! The best part is, you probably have what you need to make it in your pantry right now, and you will be able to pronounce everything in them, unlike a facial scrub you may find at a store.

Here is what you will need to make this DIY Facial Scrub:

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 1 tbp honey

Here is how to make this DIY Facial Scrub:

Step 1: First, spoon your coconut oil into a dish. I recommend heating it in a microwave for about 10 seconds to allow the oil to liquefy slightly, this makes it easier to mix.

Step 2: Add in your baking soda and mix.

Step 3: Add in your honey and mix well.

That is it! Just 3 simple steps to make your own DIY Facial Scrub that is great for your skin, the environment, and your wallet! Looking for more awesome things you can do with baking soda?
