The snow is upon us (at least temporarily) and I have to admit…I am far from excited to be outside playing in the snow. My daughter on the other hand, is so excited to see the snow! There was hardly a dusting on the ground and she pulled out all of her snow gear and was ready to go outside! So, I was on a search to find things to do outside besides the typical winter activities.
I have tried to think out of the box (which hasn’t been very successful). Next thing I know my daughter says ‘Mommy, the birds need a snack’. So this past week we made Christmas themed bird feeders!!!
After all the thinking I have tried to do, it turns out the best idea came from my wonderful three year old daughter. Maybe I need to just leave the thinking to her for the winter!
What do you and your little ones like to do during the winter?
