‘Rain, Rain Go Away, Come Again Another Day!’ We spent a few days this past holiday weekend singing that song. Thankfully, it was warm enough outside that we also used the rain to our advantage! We took our shoes and socks off and ran outside to play in the rain and the puddles!

Your little one’s feet are a huge sensory in-let for them! There are MANY nerve endings in your feet. This will open a whole new world for them. Feeling something with their feet is WAY different then feeling something with their hands.

Going out and playing in the puddles and rain isn’t always the best choice but you can let your little one explore the puddles the day after the rain or even a bucket in the house or in the garage! If you are feeling gutsy encourage them to get all muddy too!
