Chutzpah: Work for your money

ChutzpaChutzpah. This is a word that is used often by myself because sometimes I just can’t believe what people do. I mean really! I thought it would be fun to share our Chutzpah moments. The only rules are no names of stores, people, or events. You may also not use inappropriate language. Leave a comment listing your favorite Chutzpah moment! I mean laughter is the best medicine.

chutzpah Or khutspe. Nerve, extreme arrogance, brazen presumption. In English, chutzpah often connotes courage or confidence, but among Yiddish speakers, it is not a compliment.

I love my fans. I really do. I often get asked for favors. I am a giving person but I am not sure about the validity of their claims. What do you do? I can’t help everyone. I can’t afford to send every person who writes me something. I have to earn a living to feed my family. I recently had a request to provide help to one of my fans. She was in desperate need of food. I offered her coupons. She want gift cards. I do not have a pile of gift cards laying around. I am on a tight food budget myself. I offered her the opportunity to work for me. I needed some research done on an article I am working on. I suggested an hourly rate. She accepted. I am glad she was willing to work when she wanted something. It restores my faith in people.
