Chutzpah: The cart leaver

Chutzpah. This is a word that is used often by myself because sometimes I just can’t believe what people do. I mean really! I thought it would be fun to share our Chutzpah moments. The only rules are no names of stores, people, or events. You may also not use inappropriate language. Leave a comment listing your favorite Chutzpah moment! I mean laughter is the best medicine.

chutzpah Or khutspe. Nerve, extreme arrogance, brazen presumption. In English, chutzpah often connotes courage or confidence, but among Yiddish speakers, it is not a compliment. For more Yiddish WordsChut

I was shopping at Sam’s club and as I was waiting in line. I noticed a cart. It was full of groceries. I really did not think much of it until its owner came back and put more items in the cart. Then she left again only to return with more items. I wasn’t sure if I was annoyed or impressed. It seemed like a great way to “stay” in line and shop at the same time. I have to say the person behind the cart was fine with it until the lady ran to get one more thing and it was her turn to be rung up. The lady behind the roaming shopper was annoyed that she had to wait to get rung up. I am not sure what I would have done.. I mean to move yourself ahead or wait.

Did you have any Chutzpah moments this week or over the holidays?
