Chutzpah: Stealing my ride

Chutzpah. This is a word that is used often by myself because sometimes I just can’t believe what people do. I mean really! I thought it would be fun to share our Chutzpah moments. The only rules are no names of stores, people, or events. You may also not use inappropriate language. Leave a comment listing your favorite Chutzpah moment! I mean laughter is the best medicine.

chutzpah Or khutspe. Nerve, extreme arrogance, brazen presumption. In English, chutzpah often connotes courage or confidence, but among Yiddish speakers, it is not a compliment.

The cart thief. I went to the store today. I spotted my cart. I cleaned it off. I was just about ready to place the baby in the cart and it was gone. I looked back at where it had been. I wondered if the person who grabbed it noticed how much effort it took to clean it down. I was also curious to know if  they noticed the 21 lbs of moving chunky monkey in my arm as I attempted to throw away the wipes. I couldn’t let the opportunity pass so when I saw my handiwork in the aisle I told the baby I sure do wipe a cart really nicely maybe I deserve a tip. I couldn’t resist it has been one of those days.

wow how rude of that person! My “chutzpah” moments always happen at my school. There is NO parking seriously it takes 30 minutes to find a spot. Well one day i saw someone backing out so i stopped and put my blinker on ya know to SIGNAL others that it was MINE! Well some chick swoops in as soon as the other car backs out while im sitting there dumbfounded with my blinker on.. so when she got out of the car I said Im glad i could give you a grand entrance of course that was what the blinking arrows are for right? I got a flip of a finger and still didnt get a good parking spot!
