Chutzpah: Copying

Chutzpah. This is a word that is used often by myself because sometimes I just can’t believe what people do. I mean really! I thought it would be fun to share our Chutzpah moments. The only rules are no names of stores, people, or events. You may also not use inappropriate language. Leave a comment listing your favorite Chutzpah moment! I mean laughter is the best medicine.

chutzpah Or khutspe. Nerve, extreme arrogance, brazen presumption. In English, chutzpah often connotes courage or confidence, but among Yiddish speakers, it is not a compliment. For more Yiddish WordsChut

I asked a question on my facebook page “Do you think copying is a form of flattery or lack of creativity?” I recently had an idea of mine exploited by someone else. I am normally not affected by people who do that. I share a lot and I have things shared with me. I was really annoyed because the person that is now using my idea is not a friend. I do find it funny that she had to use one of my ideas instead of create her own. I guess the old saying is if you can’t beat them then join them. Right?

Have you ever had someone take one of your ideas?

As a blogger, I think it happens all time, unfortunately. I guess the good news is that those people that copy others usually don’t last long. I think ‘copying’ really stems from laziness and wanting to earn a quick buck without much effort. Sorry to say, but success takes time and hard work. Sorry to hear this person is copying your ideas.
