Easy Mothers Day Craft for Kids
Cherry Blossom Art for Mother’s Day
Materials:
~white construction paper or card stock
~1 empty 2 liter bottle with raised bottom (I used a Diet Coke bottle)
~Pink paint
~Brown paint
~Paint Brush
~Deep bowl for the pink paint
~small plate for brown paint
Instructions: Cherry Blossom Art Mothers Day Crafts for Kids
Have your child paint a branch on the white paper with the brush and brown paint instructing them to add smaller branches on the sides.
Dip the bottom of the 2 liter bottle into the pink paint and have them place it on the paper at the ends of each branch to make a cherry blossom.
Once the picture is dry it could be placed in a simple frame as a Mother’s Day gift.
Variations: This craft could be done using other colors of paint for flowers.
*I painted the first one as an example for my preschoolers and asked them to make one like it. The second picture is the results!
