Coupons for the Troops: Thanks for your help

Thanks to our friends who have dropped coupons off at the Fluvanna Library, Mail Boxes Express, my mailbox, etc. We were able to send out another batch to the men and women who serve our country. We have been talking about donating items for charity all week. Today is the day to place your non-perishable goods at your mailbox for Stamp Out Hunger. Well, this week I will not be cooking dinner. They do not allow hospital patients to cook their own dinner. It got me thinking about food and dinner and I decided instead to ask you all to help others fix their own dinner. The post office runs a food donation drive which occurs on May 8th. Local Benefit: The Goodie Bag Gives Back to Liberia 3/13

If you live in our local area, the Goodie Bag will be holding a benefit tomorrow March 13th. The Goodie Bag is a consignment store located near Lake Monticello. They will be donating 20% of the proceeds from tomorrow's sales to Liberia. Every fall containers are put together full of rice, school supplies, vacation bible school items and other requested items.
