This series on how to make the most out of the time you have with your children is brought to you by Amee at Madame Deals and Sharon at Mom on Dealz. My husband and I are both avid runners. Although we enjoy our solo runs, we also like to include the boys in our exercise too. When the weather is fitting, we strap them in the double stroller and hit the pavement. They love it! Not only do they get to see all the many things around them, they also usually get a special snack for the ride! We … [Read more...]

Virginia

It is day one of spring break. What am I going to do with the kids. How will I balance work with fun this week? This should be fun. I have to say I had plans and then realized we were a week off. That means today we do not have any fans. I am hopeful the weather holds up. I have out my Fun with the Family Virginia, 8th: Hundreds of Ideas for Day Trips with the Kids (Fun with the Family Series). I think having a book with all the items in your state helps when plans fall through. You … [Read more...]

Memories: Reading to Relatives

This series on how to make the most out of the time you have with your children is brought to you by Amee at Madame Deals and Sharon at Mom on Dealz. I think one of the greatest moments is when your child learns to read. It is so exciting because the world unfolds one page at a time. I had an idea to record my son reading. I then sent the video to my sister so he could read to her children. It is a wonderful way to keep the cousins connected and foster your child's love for reading. You … [Read more...]

Making Memories: Creating T-Shirts for Holidays

IMG_0549

I have a family tradition that is unique to our family according to my husband. I run out every Valentine's day and buy the children shirts. I am sad to say this will be the last year that I can buy shirts at a store because my son is in their largest size. I guess big boys do not wear Valentines day shirts. I decided that I am going to make our own summer camp shirts to wear when we go out this summer. It will make it easier to find the children and provide a memory that … [Read more...]
