Extreme Couponing: TLC Used to Stand for The Learning Channel

TLC's show Extreme Couponing has generated controversy since the first episode.  The Charlotte Observer recently ran this article "When Coupon Clipping Goes Wild."  It's focus is on Lowe's Foods debut on 'Extreme Couponing' and their regret in doing so. 1)  The first thing I would do if I was concerned that a coupon was fake is I would look it up in our COUPON DATABASE. The database lists all the coupons available. 2) Consider the source. Where did you find it? If it was a PDF, then I would really be skeptical. 3) Does it look like it has been altered? 4) Does it contain an odd retail value? 5) Is everything on the coupon spelled correctly? 6) Does it contain a UPC? 7) Is it for a free product? If you have a headache this week you will never need aspirin again. I am getting so sick of this show. I appreciate that getting things for free is fun. I have never nor will I ever buy 40 bottles plus of anything? I mean why? I guess I will never be extreme.
