I just made a trip to Rite Aid for some of the freebies this week. I used a $5/$25 coupon and I had (2) $1 Simply Saline coupons. So, after SCR I will make $7 on this purchase! I also reached my $100 for the Fall Gift of Savings. This means that I will get a $20 Rite Aid Gift Certificate. It has been a great month for me at Rite Aid! Well, you may have noticed that I am a bit behind in my weekly spending reports! Yes, I have been terribly busy and I am currently on vacation. The other thing is that I have not really grocery shopped in three weeks! We have been eating from our stockpile. Kids seems to want snacks non-stop. To save money on snacks while traveling, I make little snack bags for my boys. Take the snack size ziploc bags and place a variety of snack items in them. I use cheerios, dried fruit, raisins, gold fish and animal crackers. I make each little bag different and let my boys choose which one they would like. Also, make the portions in each bag small.
