My heart is sad today. I lost someone dear to me. Oh, we all knew that sooner or later, she would be leaving us. The thing is, she came close before, and decided to stay awhile longer. My heart is breaking for her parents, her brothers and sister, her grandparents. My heart is breaking for all who loved her so very much.

My heart is breaking…because I loved her so very much.

She was pure sunshine on days that darkness held me in its grip.

She was laughter to my tears.

Her smiles meant so much to me, especially when she smiled even though she wasn’t
feeling well.

I was honored when she “complained” to me.

Her hugs filled me with joy.

I will miss her soft hands, always reaching for the warmest spot on the windowsill.

Feel that warmth on your face, Jess?

Hug Abba for me, will you?
