I live in Florida, where it’s hot 10 months out of the year. And even when it’s not hot, it’s humid – so sweat control is essential all year long! Have you ever been running or exercising and had sweat drip into your eyes? Ouch! And it’s even more unpleasant when it’s mixed with sunscreen or moisturizer. The solution? A fitness headband to catch the sweat before it rolls into your eyes.
I love the way headbands look on other girls, and I’ve been searching for the perfect one for me for a long time. I’ve tried other brands and they always seem to slip or look weird. Then I discovered Sweaty Bands online and read this: “Sweaty Bands grip and hold your hair during the most strenuous of workouts, all without slipping, tugging or pulling.” I had to try them! The Madame Deals team (Amee, Rachelle, Gwen, and I) had signed up to run the BlogHer 5K in Chicago, and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to give Sweaty Bands a try.
Sweaty Bands has a HUGE selection of headbands to choose from – everything from floral and animal prints, to sorority letters and holiday patterns. You can choose between a thick or a thin headband. You can even customize your Sweaty with your school, company, or team logo. The options are endless! For the Madame Deals girls, I selected matching sparkly Viva Diva Sweaty Bands in Gun Metal (black) – fitting choice for us divas, right?
So what did we think of our Sweaty Bands? Well, we all loved them. They stood up to their promise – they didn’t slip, tug, or pull. They kept the sweat off of our faces and out of our eyes. And they looked adorable too, even at 5:30 a.m.!
We got tons of compliments on them. And some of us even liked them so much that we wore them when we weren’t running!
I’m back home in Florida now, and I tried mine out again yesterday on a VERY hot and humid 6.5 mile run. It was perfect – kept the sweat out of my eyes and off my face, didn’t slip or slide, and looked adorable.
I’m hooked on Sweaty Bands, and you will be too! Visit www.SweatyBands.com today to start shopping…and Stay Sweaty!
