*Over* POM Wonderful Giveaway & Review

by Renae on February 8, 2010

pom wonderful

I had the opportunity to review POM Wonderful pomegranate juice. I have fond childhood memories of picking out the arils from pomegranates grown in our yard. Our hands would be stained red from the fruit but it was worth it for the unique taste of pomegranates.

POM Wonderful has made it easy for you to enjoy this one of a kind fruit. Pomegranate juice contains natural antioxidants. POM Wonderful is made of 100% pomegranate juice with no added dies, sugar or preservatives. It is also gluten free. The taste of %100 pomegranate juice is sweet and tart.

The best part about reviewing POM Wonderful is that I explored a new recipe! Not only can you drink POM Wonderful but it is great to cook with. I made a version of the Butternut Squash Ravioli with Peppered POM Sauce. To make the recipe budget friendly, I adapted it. However, I did make the Peppered POM Sauce as directed. It was delicious! My husband first declined to taste the sauce. After I convinced him to give it a shot, he loved it! We actually had two meals with the Peppered POM Sauce.

The down side to POM Wonderful is the expense. The 16 oz. bottles run about $3.99 regularly. Due to price, I won’t be purchasing POM Wonderful regularly. However, I will not hesitate to use it to cook a special meal. There are several great recipes listed on the POM website.

I LOVE PomWonderful! My favorite way to drink it is cut with 50% seltzer water. It’s like an antioxidant soda!
