The word of the day over at Inexpensively is Black Friday! Are you ready?
Okay, the key to Black Friday is PLANNING! There is no doubt about it, it will be crowded and there will be lines. Bring your patience and a plan of attack…a strategy.
First research what you are looking to buy. If it is a large purchase, look up the pros and cons of the item. If it is a hot item, you will not have time to debate in the store. Research what stores you want to shop. Many stores have their ads out already (or someone has a sneak peek ad scan up).
Some resources for finding Black Friday ads:
Once you know what you are buying and where; plan what store you will hit first. What item is most important to you? Go for that item first.
Stick to your list. It will be so tempting to load up your cart! Remember you can’t purchase every good deal. Go in with a budget and a list and stick to it! Set limits.
Not all stores run super sales just on Friday. CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid will have a three day sale starting on Thursday. Here is my little secret; I said I will not shop Black Friday, but you better bet I will be at CVS first thing Thursday! I will be organized and it will take me less than a half hour. I will be home before my company is even awake! (Yes, I did this last year too!)
Not only will there be good deals in stores, there will be hot deals online. I found last year that Walmart offered some of the same deals online. Also, Cyber Monday is a good day to shop.
Research, Plan, Make a list, Set a Budget and Stick to it!
Have Fun!
