So I talk a lot! I mean a lot! Our phone bill has only grown in recent years because now my son wants to call everyone and talk to them. He even calls his cousin who is 3 and chats with her. Our phone bill and my cell phone bill were out of control. I decided to take control and do something about it. I have had vontage and I use skype but I wanted something that I could use my existing phone with. I also wanted something that my husband could use when he travels all over the world. I have only tested this in my home. I will let you know over the next couple of months how it works abroad. I called several people and I didn’t tell them I was on my phone using Magic Jack until we were ready to hang up. They said they had no idea. It was easy to set-up and easy to use. Magic Jack requires a credit card to bill you $30 after the 30 days is up. This it the cost for a year! That’s right, long distance for less than $3 a month. The downside is you have to have your computer near. The upside is a I am spending way less and I have a portable phone anywhere. Let us know what you think.
